Radiologic Technologist

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates x-ray equipment in the department or in a portable setting throughout the hospital, ensuring a safe radiation environment and proper radiation exposure factors. Instructs and positions patients to obtain acceptable radiographs of diagnostic quality and processing of film. Ensures work areas meet appropriate standards of safety, equipment supply and cleanliness levels. Manually enters patient data ensuring proper preparation for dictation and billing.

Minimum Requirements

ARRT registered or registry eligible.
